The great outdoors is very important to my husband. He is constantly making fishing and hiking trips and wants us all to go to Maine for vacation this summer. I have been searching online for different Maine lodging properties that offer affordable oceanfront accommodations. We are hoping to find a spot on the ocean without it costing too much money. After researching for a while online, I ended up finding a small quaint hotel in Rockport, Maine called the Ledges By The Bay that directly overlooks Penobscot Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. All the reviews I have read says that this is a great place to stay if you are looking for reasonable oceanfront Maine lodging accommodations. I am trying to budget enough money so that we can make the trip to Maine this summer . He seems to have a one track mind. I love the state of Maine and cannot wait to make the trip there. It is hard to budget a 7 day vacation after you lose your job. We do our best to find fun things to do with the kids given our current financial situation but I know if we watch our pennies we will be able to save enough to make this family trip to Maine this summer.
